    La Femme Cream

As we get older vaginal tissue can become thinner, drier, less elastic and more fragile. This can lead to painful intercourse, light bleeding after intercourse, painful/burning urination or just a general uncomfortable feeling of dryness and itchiness.

Vaginal dryness is associated with flagging hormone levels, but it is not limited to women who are menopausal. Many women who take oral contraceptives will experience vaginal dryness from time to time because birth control pills suppress our natural hormone production which, in turn, contributes to vaginal irritation and dryness. Also, it is not uncommon for women who are breast feeding to have problems with dryness either.

Women who talk to their doctor?s regarding discomforts associated with vaginal dryness are typically given a cream containing estriol (one of three estrogens produced by the body.) This is because estriol is beneficial to vaginal and cervical tissues. A surprising number of women who have used just the La Femme Cream twice daily have been able to restore healthy vaginal tissue within 3-4 months.

It?s our belief that when the La Femme cream is applied vaginally it sensitizes the estrogen receptors in that area so the body can properly utilize its own estriol. Remember, without progesterone the estrogen receptor sites are not properly cleansed and therefore the body doesn?t use its own estrogen very well.

La Femme Cream is Replenishing Cream with an added 7% Mexican wild yam extract. It is used to help alleviated vaginal dryness. The Replenishing Cream is a very thick, heavy healing balm that absorbs well in the vaginal area (the Resolve and Balance doesn't). Daily use will help to moisturize and heal the dry skin that causes such discomfort, and the wild yam extract has been added to help boost hormonal chemistry in the area in order to help stimulate natural regeneration of healthy skin tissues.

La Femme Cream should be used in conjunction with either the Resolve Wild Yam Cream or Balance Roll-On. You should not interrupt your regular regime with either of these products when using the La Femme Cream. You don't need to worry about getting too much, as you can't overdose on the La Femme, Resolve, or Balance and since the Resolve and Balance don't absorb well in the vaginal area you don't want to substitute them with the La Femme cream, you'll want to use either of them in conjunction with it.

Some women will just need La Femme occasionally while others will need it daily. If you are using it daily then you should break from it's use at the same time you break from the Resolve or Balance.
